Metabolic Nutrition & Supplement Plan
Reset your Metabolic function
The Metabolic Nutrition Plan is created based on each person’s blood values which provide precise information on the health status, potential metabolic disorders, deficiencies in vital substances & associated metabolism blockages, health profile, and eating preferences.
Blood supplies the body with oxygen and nutrients. As it flows throughout the entire body, the blood may reveal signs of disease from all parts of the body. The blood values help us determine which nutrients are well supplied and the ones that may be deficient. Blood also knows how well the organs are working and if there is any inflammation or potential risks of disease.
Your personalized meal plan acts as your “Road Map,” and it indicates exactly what foods you should eat based on your biochemical needs, to supply the body with all the vital nutrients so it can produce the hormones and enzymes necessary in orchestrating the biochemical changes needed for a healthy metabolic function.
The nutrition plan is a balance of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and water. It’s a sustainable lifestyle, consisting of three nutritious meals a day and choosing foods from the personal food list, all of which are available from local supermarkets.
This is not a calorie counting or deprivation nutrition plan. It is retraining of how and when to eat the right foods for each person’s health needs.
There are 4 phases to the Metabolic Nutrition Plan.
Phase 1 begins the process of detoxification and elimination, which is key in preparing the body for the next phase.
Phase 2 begins the process in allowing the body to detox and restore it’s hormonal and metabolic functions by eating according to the individualized restricted food list. It’s during this time that your body is detoxing and restoring its hormonal system. During this phase, the first 16-30 days are restricted; the duration of strictness varies from individual to individual. Patients need to follow the foods specified on the personal nutrition plan. Plans vary from person to person, some contain oils/fats from the beginning of phase 2, while others are restricted for the first 16-30 days. After completing the first 16-30 days, oils/fats and treat meals are introduced. Duration for phase 2, can vary, typically most patients stay in this phase for a duration of 8-12 weeks or longer depending on each person’s nutritional needs.
Phase 3 is when additional foods are added to the food list as the individual gets into a healthier metabolic function.
Phase 4 is when all foods are added to the list. Following the principles of the nutrition plan is what’s going to help maintain a healthy metabolic function.
IA supplement plan will also be provided based on the individual’s biochemical needs as a supportive tool along with the nutrition plan.
Carbohydrates breakdown into glucose, which is a type of sugar, before it enters the bloodstream. Glucose is also known as blood glucose or blood sugar and is the main source of fuel for the human body.
The pancreas releases insulin from the beta cells into the bloodstream to move glucose from the blood into the cells, where it can be used for storage and as energy. Insulin stimulates the liver to store glucose in the form of glycogen.
Insulin resistance develops when the cells in the muscles, liver and fat resist glucose from entering the insulin receptor sites. This resistance causes cell starvation, as glucose backs up outside of the cells gate and spills into the blood, putting a demand on the body to produce more and more insulin and this vicious cycle continues. Insulin resistance is found in type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, PCOS, infertility and many other conditions.
The Metabolic Nutrition Plan helps to restore healthy insulin levels, which results in stabilized blood sugar levels, balanced hormones and fat loss. Overall, it resets metabolic function.
